How Notary Public Service Bangkok collects, uses and protects your personal data.

Last updated: 18 October 2026

1. Who we are

Notary Public Service Bangkok (“we”, “us”) provides notarial, legalisation, translation and document drafting services in Thailand. Our office is at No. 2 Quant Building, Sukhumvit 25 Alley, Khlong Toei Nuea, Watthana, Bangkok 10110. You can contact us about privacy at info@notary-public.in.th or +66 (0) 95 734 4242.

We handle personal data in line with Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) (“PDPA”).

2. What we collect

  • Contact details you give us through our forms, booking calendar, email, phone or messaging apps, such as your name, email address, phone number and message.
  • Appointment details, such as the date, location, type and number of documents, and the country where the documents will be used.
  • Identity and document information needed to provide our services, such as copies of your passport or ID and the documents you ask us to notarize, translate, draft or legalise.
  • Technical data collected automatically when you use our website, such as your IP address, browser type and cookies.

3. Why we use your data

  • To reply to your enquiry, give you a quote and arrange your appointment.
  • To provide our services, including verifying your identity before a notarization.
  • To keep records we are required to keep by law or professional rules.
  • To run, secure and improve our website.

We rely on the legal bases set out in the PDPA, mainly to take steps at your request before a contract and to perform it, to meet legal obligations, and for our legitimate interests in running our business. We ask for your consent where the law requires it.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only when it is needed to provide our services or required by law, for example with:

  • government authorities and embassies, when you ask us to legalise a document;
  • translators who work on your documents;
  • service providers that host our website and email, or provide the maps, forms and booking tools on our website, who process data on our instructions.

Some of these providers may store data outside Thailand. Where this happens, we take the steps required by the PDPA to protect it.

5. How long we keep it

We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, including any period required by law or professional rules. After that, we delete or anonymise it.

6. Your rights

Under the PDPA you may have the right to access your personal data, get a copy, correct it, ask us to delete or anonymise it, restrict or object to its use, ask for it to be transferred, and withdraw consent you have given. You can also complain to the Personal Data Protection Committee. To use your rights, email info@notary-public.in.th.

7. Cookies

Our website uses cookies that are needed for it to work, and cookies set by embedded services such as Google Maps. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the website may then not work properly.

8. Sending documents by email

Email is not completely secure. If you send us copies of your ID or documents, please send only what we ask for. Contact us if you would prefer another way to share sensitive documents.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
